the official mello coldfoam manual

Updated: Apr 16

as someone who was called "the Gordan Ramsey of cold foams" by one person on Tik Tok I think I know a thing or two about cold foam. I am not delusional enough to think I broke the internet when I first shared how you could make cold foam and store it in the fridge for the week, but....I certaintly think I maybe made it poop it's pants.

so this article will serve as an offical cold foam manual by mello and I can't wait to share all of my favorite cold foam flavor combinations with you!

cold foam has honestly been the key to me enjoying making coffee at home (it's to the point where I prefer it actually) but it's kind of a pain to have to make it everyday. traditional coldfoam you get at the coffee shop, is equally parts milk and heavy cream. however since I am storing it for 3-4 days, I ditch the milk so it retains it's thickness.

let's talk tools: as the unoffical ambassador of the immersion belnder, that is my tool of choice. that being said, it is not a requirement. you can use one of those smaller electric whisks, a blender, or even just shaking a closed jar.
