the mello feel good planner is designed to have your back. it's more than just a weekly scheduler. this planner was carefully crafted to be your ultimate bestie when it comes to achieving your habits and goals while creating a safe space and support structure for tough days.
this planner is also un-dated so you can start it any time of year.

as a fellow victim of good babe syndrome [which has not only made me the planner I am but has also driven me to extreme burnout] I feel compelled to start this guide with a few reminders:
this planner is not homework or a test. please do yourself and me a favor and commit to not using this to apply un-needed pressure on yourself. there are no wrong answers.
practice consistency not perfection: there will be days where everything doesn't get done, probably alot of them and that's not only OK, it's required.
we take things one step at a time: we are here to build habits and goals that last. we aren't trying to crash out. patience is key.
starting your planner the right way
you may already know, I am BIG believer in setting the vibes when we start something and there is no way I was going to have you start a year long journey without doing the same. and this isn't just something I made up, it's something your brain needs. The more "attractive" or rewarding a habit feels, the more likely you are to stick to it. and so your honor (that's you) I rest my case :) the vibes must be set.
so when you get your planner & you are ready to dig in. stop and take a moment to romanticize your planning, trust me you will not regret it.
set aside 30 minutes
light a candle or set the diffuser
put on a comfort show or playlist
make a silly little drink (alcohol or not, also silly little treats work too!)
garden, if that is your thing
find a cozy spot (somewhere sunny can work too)
now after you read the intro letter from little old me...
it's time to set up your new mello feel good planner to best support you for the next 52 weeks [1 year]. the first two pages are designed to first establish intentions, goals and the habits you want to work towards. and then create a space with mantras and reminders to refer back to on those days when you need the most support.
let's dive in babes
the vibes are set and we are ready to get started.
PLEASE NOTE: if you need a little help or inspiration while filing our your feel good planner. as your certified internet bestie, I added a little cheat sheet in the pack of the planner with ideas and suggestions.

planner intentions
best practice for starting any productive practice is to set intentions. these don't have to be complicated or elaborate. the important part is that they are authentic to you.

planner goals
babe, you deserve balance and so I split the goals up into categories. Identify a goal in each space that is aspirational. each week as you work through your schedule you will have an opportunity to not only check back in but commit to taking a step towards those goals.

habits
the weekly planner sheets include a habit tracker, but before we get there let's start by identifying the habits you'd love to build up vs. the ones you'd like to ditch.
**if you're buying this planner I am going to venture to say that "quest for perfection" should probably be a habit you'd like to include on the Habits to Stop list. don't feel called out, it's just a hunch ;) we are team! progress over protection here at mello.
safe space for a tough day
let's be real, it's easier to work towards your goals and habits on the days where you are feeling your best. which is why I think it's important to build a support structure for the not so great days, so you have something to lean on.

now that we've set the stage for productivity & achievements - we need to create some support tools for the tough days, the days where we feel like giving up, those survival mode only days...
this page is designed for you to refer back to on the days where the habits aren't habiting. and it's not in a toxic "you need to be productive" sort of way but it's about giving yourself the grace and rest needed to achieve your dreams.
so be sure to use this page as a safe sapce -- fill it with reminders, your favorite ways to comfort yourself and of course a list of your favorite silly little treats. a true reference sheet for when you need a little extra self care.

weekly planning ritual
I sit down each friday and spend 1hr planning to make my entire week easier. I use the meal prep grocery notepad to plan meals & grocery list and then I use my mello feel good planner for my weekly schedule and goal check in.
the feel good weekly planner pages are designed to not only set your weekly schedule, but to help make it easier to work towards the goals and habits you identified in the beginning of the planner.

start of the week check in
check in with yourself and circle the feelings thay apply - their are no wrong answers.
to do list
tasks and responsabilities you need to complete for the week but that are not specific to a date, are stored here. including checkboxes to mark as you accomplish things.
this week's goals
set one realistic step you can take this week to work towards the goals you set at the start of the your planner.
vibes for the week: you know the vibes before you go into the week. checking in on this intention and checking how you are feeling is important when we set expectations and schedule our responsabilities for the week. if we know going into the week that we are "survival mode on" then it's best to keep your schedule light. vice versa if we are going into the weekly feeling like we are "totally killing it" then we may be able to keep our schedule more on the productive side.

weekly habit tracker
use this section to customize your habits for the week and track your progress. my only reccomendation is to pick realistic options that you can accomplish daily.
cheat sheet
everyone needs a little inspiration :) feel free to peep the cheat sheet in the back of your feel good weekly planner for some ideas. steal the ones you like or don't use them at all. it's up to you.
